Be a good Neighbour

Date published: 23rd April 2020

This is a stressful and worrying time,  particularly for those who are isolated or unwell or have children at home, and for those who may work in our health and social care services.

We would ask you to be a good neighbour to these people at this time by thinking about the impact of excessive noise, particularly late at night.

If you are having a problem with one of your neighbours, take some time out, and consider whether the behaviour is anti-social, before deciding how to tackle it. Ask yourself if you are being reasonable?

Often, the issues can be dealt with before approaching Tuntum for advice.

Consider speaking to your neighbour (at a safe distance ) to make them aware of the problem before making an official complaint. Asb help website offer some tips on how to do this here https://asbhelp.co.uk/tackling-the-problem/
