Imaani

The Imaani Project provides temporary accommodation with support to young women aged 16 - 25 of African, Caribbean, Asian or Dual Heritage (BME) descent. In addition, when spaces permit, and in special circumstances we will offer accommodation to women up to the age of 30.

Imaani offers support, advice and guidance to young women who are vulnerable, homeless or threatened with homeless.

The young women referred to us must be deemed vulnerable or at risk of becoming homeless (threatened or actual), that may arise for a variety of reasons, such as, relationship breakdown with family, domestic violence or abuse.

A support package will be put together for each resident and we will positively encourage other agencies that are involved with the young women to maintain contact and to work in partnership with us ensure that we meet the needs of our clients.
