Our aim is to ensure that our Residents should be able to retain maximum independence in their own homes and have care, with dignity, provided as and when it is required.
Whatever your current circumstances, if you are over 55, whether you rent or own your present home, you can apply to live in our sheltered housing. You will have your own spacious, self- contained apartment, specially designed with older people in mind. Your apartment will be equipped with a fitted kitchen and bathroom, digital television point and a 24-hour emergency call system should you need it.
Balisier Court in Nottingham delivers independence, choice and control for a diverse range of older people. We deliver a range of community and neighbourhood services that support older people at home, helping to maintain health and well-being. We work in partnership with you to ensure the services we provide are what you actually want.
Residents have their own homes with their own front door and we place great emphasis on enabling people to continue to run their own lives. We offer access to a range of preventative support services such as shopping, cleaning and transport as well as social activities, benefit advice and access to education and leisure opportunities. Staff on the schemes facilitate access to these and other services.
If residents need some help day-to-day, they will make sure that support and care is available, while at the same time encouraging independence, social interaction and stimulation. Above all, we focus on freedom, companionship, security and fun.
