We held a cake sale and coffee morning to raise money for AWAAZ, a local charity that provides mental health services for Black and Minority Ethnic communities in Nottingham. AWAAZ means ‘voice’ in the three main Asian languages and, and their specific aim is to make sure mental health service users and their carers have a voice in the National Health Service.
We raised £154 for them – thanks to everyone who contributed to this valuable cause!
