Homes In Nottingham

When you apply for a home in Nottingham you will need to use Homelink. HomeLink is a choice based lettings scheme. Instead of being offered a property, you get to choose the properties you are interested in and 'bid' for that property.

We follow our own Allocations Policy when deciding who to award our properties to.

HomeLink means more choice for you!

Notttingham CIty Homes' Homelink are in a partnership with Tuntum, and ten other housing associations to enable you to get more choice on where you want to live. Tuntum properties are available across most of the city area but, by including Nottingham City Homes and other housing association properties, Homelink is able to offer you homes across a wider area.

The other nine Homelink partners are:

  • Nottingham City Homes

  • Accent Nene

  • Derwent Living

  • Family First Housing

  • Guiness Trust Group

  • Longhurst Homes

  • Nottingham Community Housing Association

  • People for Places Homes

  • Spirita (formerly Metropolitan Housing Trust)

  • William Sutton Housing Trust

How do I get a property?

Every week we advertise all our empty properties in the 'Property' section of Monday's Evening Post newspaper. They also appear on the HomeLink website. You can then 'bid' over the internet, by telephone or at one of Nottingham City Homes housing offices. The person with the highest priority will then get the particular property advertised. If you are not successful you can bid for up to three properties every week until you get one!
