Homes to Rent in Leicester

When you apply for a home in Leicester you will need to use Leicester HomeChoice. Leicester HomeChoice is a choice based lettings scheme. Instead of being placed on a waiting list until you are offered a property, you get to choose the properties you are interested in and 'bid' for that property.

We follow our own Allocations Policy when deciding who to award our properties to.

Homefinder means more choice for you!

Leicester HomeChoice are in partnership with Tuntum, and many other housing associations to enable you to get more choice on where you want to live. Tuntum properties are available across most of the city area; but by including Leicester City Council's Housing and other housing association properties, Leicester HomeChoiceis able to offer you homes across a wider area.

How do I get a property?

We advertise available properties for at least one week.  This is called an 'advertising cycle'.  The advertising cycle starts on a Wednesday and ends at Midnight on the following Monday.

You can see our latest properties by registering at Leicester HomeChoice's Website.

Each advertised property tells you the landlord, location, size, rent and other features of the property to help you decide which properties are right for you.

The advert also tells you if there are any special requirements that the applicant must meet, such as the band awarded or specific age requirements.

We do not advertise the house number so you will not be able to view the property unless it is offered to you. Where available a photograph of the property or a similar house type is provided and you can access a map and information about the local area and facilities.
