Richard Renwick MBE
Richard RenwickRichard has been Chief Executive of Tuntum since December 1994.  Before that he worked as a freelance Management Consultant; a regulator with the Housing Corporation and in race relations at the former Greater London Council. After leaving Leeds University in 1978 with a BA (Hons) in Economics, Richard spent 4 years training as a chartered accountant with a national firm in London.

Richard has held a number of positions within the voluntary housing sector in the past including as Chair of the Federation of Black Housing Organisations (FBHO) for 4 years and as Chair of the Nottinghamshire Social Housing Forum. He was a founder member of  PATH (National), the largest positive action organisation in the UK.

At present, Richard is Chair of LABO Housing Association which operates in the East End of London, Vice Chair of PATH (National), an elected member of the Regional Executive Committee of the National Housing Federation and Chair of the recently formed East Midlands Black and Minority Ethnic Housing Group.  

In 2005, Richard was awarded the MBE for his services to social housing and the Caribbean community in the East Midlands.

Richard’s hobbies including coaching and playing league cricket, playing table tennis, reading and going to the cinema.
