The Imaani project is for women of African and Asian origin between the ages of 16 and 25 who need special support and advice, including family mediation, careers advice and preparation for getting a job and living independently.

The Imaani Project offers quick access, temporary accommodation with support for young single women of African, Caribbean, Asian or dual heritage descent. We will accept young women aged 16–30, with priority given to those under the age of 19.

 

Young women are able to stay at the project for up to 6 months and are expected to actively engage in training, education and employment opportunities, with advice and support from our site staff. The support and advice on offer includes family mediation, careers advice and preparation for getting a job and living independently.
