Racial harassment

Tuntum has properties in Nottingham and Leicester where people from many different backgrounds share their lives. It is one of Tuntum's responsibilities to ensure that tenants feel free to carry on their lives in a safe and secure environment. Any incident or racial harassment will be treated seriously; if necessary the offenders may be prosecuted and/or evicted.

The type of harassment Tuntum will take action against includes:

racist slogans daubed on walls
racist abuse used in arguments
rubbish dumped on doorsteps
abusive literature sent through the post
wilful damage to property
physical attack and harassment by animals.

Tuntum will take action if the harassment is directed by a tenant against another tenant, their household, visitors or any member, contractor or authorised representative of Tuntum.
