Customer Services Team
Our customers are very important to us at Tuntum. The Customer Service Team is the first point of contact for many of our customers, and tenants can contact them to:
  • request a repair
  • apply for a house
  • check on their rent account
  • discuss any problems they may have.

Focus groups
A major theme is to continue our tenant involvement work. This has included setting up ‘one off’ focus groups to look at particular issues, suggested by tenants. In the last year, these have included:
  • new policies on transfers
  • arrears management
  • review of customer care policy
  • BME housing strategy
  • annual consultation regarding the business plan.
 
Reception area
Following careful monitoring of disabled visitors coming to our reception area, work has been undertaken to modify the layout, making it more accessible and user-friendly.
 
Tenant induction
Tuntum commissioned the production of a DVD, to be used as part of tenant induction. This helps to make the ‘sign up’ process more customer-friendly and accessible, and improves the quality of service we offer to our tenants.
 
The Language Line service
This service was introduced to ensure that any applicant who needs an interpreter or translator receives the same level of service as English speakers.
